Our Authors

Our blog guides are written by the Hey Congrats team under three pen names, one for each topic area: Bradley Larsen for GED and high school records, Jared Thompson for templates and design, and Marc Buccat for certificates, awards and general topics. Each author page lists that author's focus and the guides published under that name.

How our posts are written and checked

Posts are drafted with AI help and checked by our team before they are published. For anything a school or testing service issues, our guides point you to the official route first, such as your school, district or GED.com. Each post lists its sources at the end. Read our Editorial Policy for details.

Hey Congrats is based in Richmond, VA and started in 2001. Our products are personalized display and commemorative copies, not records issued by a school or testing service.
