What We Don't Do
Hey Congrats creates personalized, non-official display copies of diplomas, transcripts and certificates. People order them as keepsakes, for framing, as gifts, as props for productions that permit them, or as a spare for the home or office. Every order is a design product. None is a school-issued record.
To keep it that way, there are some things we won't make, some institutions we don't produce for, and some places we don't ship to. If an order falls into any of these, we will cancel it and refund it.
Uses we won't support
- Showing one of our products to an employer, school, licensing board, government agency or anyone else as proof of education or a credential.
- Any order where we believe the document will be used to mislead someone, or to put public health or safety at risk.
- Changing, "updating" or recreating a credential you did not earn so it can be passed off as school-issued.
Document types we don't make
- Licensed and regulated fields: medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary care, law, and anything that suggests a person can diagnose, treat or prescribe for people or animals.
- Public safety and transportation: aviation, rail, commercial driving, emergency medical services, fire, law enforcement, security and military roles.
- Technical and trade licensing: engineering, structural or building work, electrical installation, gas, oil, chemical and other hazardous-materials fields.
- Certifications and licenses: any document labeled "certified," "certification" or "verified," including accounting, property brokerage, financial advising and government-issued certifications.
- Identity and government documents: IDs, licenses, permits or anything else a government agency issues.
Schools and institutions we don't produce for
We don't make documents of any kind that name, or are styled after, the following:
- GED Testing Service / GED credentials (ged.com)
- Purdue University, including any associated campus
- George Mason University
- Florida Atlantic University
- Western Governors University
- Oregon: we don't make documents for any school in Oregon, and we don't ship to Oregon addresses.
- Connecticut: we don't make documents for any school in Connecticut, and we don't ship to Connecticut addresses.
This list can change. If an institution asks us to stop producing documents that carry its name, we add it here.
Shipping restrictions
We don't ship printed orders to addresses in Oregon or Connecticut. Orders that fall under these restrictions are canceled and refunded.
Our right to decline
We review orders before they go into production. We may ask questions about an order, or decline it, for any reason not listed here if it doesn't fit how our products are meant to be used.
Need a school-issued record?
Only the school or agency that issued your diploma, transcript or certificate can provide a copy that counts as a record. Contact your school's registrar or records office. For a high school equivalency, contact the education department in the state where you tested.
