High School Equivalency Diploma & Transcript FAQs

No. An HSE credential is earned by passing your state's approved tests and is issued through your state, so Hey Congrats cannot sell it. To request a copy of an HSE diploma or transcript you earned, contact your state's education department. For a personalized, non-official piece meant only for display, keepsake or permitted prop use, browse the HSE display-copy collection.

Hey Congrats offers personalized, non-official HSE display copies in the high school equivalency collection. They are made for framing, keepsakes, gifts, personal archives, motivation or permitted props. They do not prove education, test results or graduation.

The collection includes a diploma-only display copy, a coordinated diploma-and-transcript display set and a score transcript display copy. Each product page shows its available styles, sizes, delivery choices and personalization fields.

Choose the diploma-only option when one commemorative piece fits the project. Choose the coordinated set when you want a diploma and a score-layout page that go together. Both are non-official and have no verification value.

In most states, the diploma or certificate is the document issued once you earn the credential, and the transcript is the state's record of the subjects you tested in and your scores. A Hey Congrats score-layout display piece is not a transcript record. For your record, contact your state's education department.

Options vary by product and variant. Select digital, printed, or combined delivery only when that choice appears on the current product page. The selected Shopify variant controls the displayed price and whether shipping information is required.

Use the price shown for the product, design and delivery option you select. Start with the high school equivalency collection, then choose the diploma-only or set option you want. We don't list a fixed price here because product options can change.

Prepare the display name, jurisdiction or state wording, date, design or style, delivery choice, and any other fields shown in the order assistant. Review spelling, dates, and selected options carefully before adding the item to the cart because customer-supplied details flow into production.

The paid proof-review option appears only on eligible mailed HSE products. If the product page shows it, select it before checkout and the current price is added to your order. A proof is not free or automatically included, so if no proof option appears, don't expect one.

Read our guide to requesting a copy of your HSE certificate, then contact the education department in the state where you earned the credential. Hey Congrats cannot issue or reissue a state record.

Yes. The issuing office, provider, format, price and steps can vary by state and by the year you tested. Follow the current instructions from the education department in the state where you completed the tests.

No. A Hey Congrats HSE display copy cannot verify education, test scores or graduation, and it must never be submitted as a credential. When an employer, school, licensing body or other organization needs proof, request your diploma or transcript from your state's education department.
